We are recruiting for an analytical and detail orientated Credit Control Supervisor on behalf of our north Herefordshire client.
This is a permanent, full-time position and our client is seeking candidates with existing Credit Control experience alongside people management skills. The ideal candidate will be a finance professional with demonstrable supervisory experience with a genuine interest in people leadership and team development.

What you will be doing:
- Assist in the accounts department in the monthly reporting on aged receivables and intercompany accounts
- Monitor the risk exposure of the business with both new and existing customers
- Process cash payments to suppliers and complete corresponding banking journals
- Manage and be the main contact for support for the Credit Control and purchase teams
- Support and manage a small team and develop best practice within the team
- Reconcile debtor and creditor ledgers
- Prepare dispute monitoring reports and aged receivable reports as required and use to help target and monitor the progress
- Ensure credit checks are maintained on both existing and new customer by liaising closely with the management accounting team where necessary
- Process non-payment cases to debt collection
- Adhere to group targets report on variances accordingly
- Collaborate with the wider finance team to ensure facilitation of cash collection
- Record and report to the Finance Director and senior management team
What we are looking for:
- Extensive administration/Credit Control experience
- People management experience and enjoys leading a team
- Strong communication skills
- High attention to detail
- An existing accounting qualification would be advantageous
