My client is looking for a Credit Controller to join the Credit / AR team of 11 for a 6 month maternity cover. You will report directly to the Group Credit Manager and be responsible for a managing the credit control a ledger of just over £1million.
- Responsible for managing a UK ledger of 150 live accounts with a monthly ledger value of £1million+.
- Credit checking, setting of limits, making decisions around credit risk
- Chasing outstanding debts by telephone, letter and email
- Investigation and resolving customer queries
- Cash allocation
- Reconciling accounts
- Monthly statement runs
- Raising credit notes and processing write offs
- Working to cash collection targets
Requirements
- Recent/current experience of working as a Credit Controller
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to prioritise and manage your workload.
