Credit Controller - Professional Services

Are you an experienced Credit Controller? Do you have experience working within Professional Services and are used to maintaining client relationships?

We are working with a Top 15 firm based in Milton Keynes, they are on the look out for an experienced Credit Controller. This is a newly created role due to the growth of the business and needs someone that knows how to add value to the team and improve processes.

The main purpose of the role is to sit within the central finance function, helping maintain the client relationships as well as ensuring outstanding payments are collected and highlighting any potential risk.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collection of outstanding debts for offices by phone, email, fax and liaising with Partners/Managers and updating onto the notes system and working ledgers
• Office visits to discuss debts and implement action plans.
• Commencing legal action where necessary - raising necessary paperwork and liaising with court offices for office.
• Liaise with Partners/Managers over problem clients and agree action plan to collect debt.
