Your new role
This temporary position, lasting approximately one month, is an immediate requirement to assist with administrative and credit control tasks. The responsibilities include:
- Managing the referral process to the Debt Collection Agent (DCA)
- Reducing a backlog of approximately 2300 cases and forwarding them to the DCA
- Interacting with the Practice Management System to gather information, account statements, and transferring this data onto a spreadsheet
- Producing client correspondence as the team's workload increases
- Checking client information, choosing appropriate communication, and executing mail merges for mail and letter production
The role is currently being fulfilled by a temporary resource (Benny) who is at capacity and being assisted by a client-facing collector. The aim is to allow the collector to focus on client-facing activities and bring in a temporary resource to support correspondence production.
What you'll need to succeed
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written
- Ability to work quickly, accurately, and maintain focus on assigned tasks
- Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables and V-Lookups)
- No prior experience in credit control or collections is necessary, but it would be beneficial
- Must be available immediately
