THE ROLE

As the Credit Risk Policy Manager, you will be instrumental in managing the health of the lending book and ensuring the integrity of their lending policies. This is an opportunity to lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of Credit Risk policies and procedures, contributing directly to the financial health and stability of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use large sets of data to provide insight into the performance of the book and optimize their underwriting policies
• Develop and refine Credit Risk policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Monitor and assess Credit Risk exposures, identifying emerging risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of Credit Risk policies with business objectives.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on Credit Risk policies and procedures.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to inform decision-making processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline would be best suites to this role
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
• Extensive experience in Credit Risk management within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to Credit Risk.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
