The role will involve:
- Engaging with service users to offer advice, information & structured support for a time-limited period, creating awareness of the possibilities for personal change
- Completing appropriate assessments to identify the right treatment pathway for the service user
- Devise,
- monitor, review, and update recovery care plans to ensure service user needs are met in a timely and appropriate manner
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in assessing suitability for service users to enter service and completing risk assessments & care plans
- Proven ability to deliver structured psychosocial interventions to enable service users to move forward in their recovery
- Excellent communication and liaison skills with the ability to provide feedback to the Probation service
- Strong record-keeping skills, including maintaining up-to-date records via relevant and appropriate systems
- Capability to take a multi-agency approach to service delivery to ensure the right services are available at the right time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as Social Work, Psychology, Criminology, or related disciplines
- Relevant professional certifications in counselling, social work, or related areas
- Experience working in similar roles within the Criminal Justice system or related sectors
