The Force Intelligence Bureau is a rewarding and fulfilling department to work in.

Applications are invited for the role of Criminal Researcher on the Serious and Organised Crime desk and the Roads Policing desk within the Force Intelligence Bureau. As a Researcher you will collate and disseminate intelligence in support of operations and emerging threats, produce reports and data and assist in various aspects of intelligence review and dissemination. You will also support local police areas, Headquarters Departments including Major Crime and the Serious Organised Crime Unit, and other law enforcement agencies.

The Criminal Researcher role on the Serious and Organised Crime desk looks into the recording of disruptions for various crime types and operations, the management of OCG’s and CDL’s, assisting the Intelligence Development Officers, handling data requests and much more.
