Criminal Duty Solicitor/Supervisor

My client is now looking for an experienced Criminal Solicitor/Supervisor to join their reputable High-street Law Firm in Barnsley.

Essential requirements:
* Qualified Solicitor with current practicing certificate, 2+ PQE
* Previous experience of LAA audits
* Duty Solicitor/ CLAS
* Advocacy at Magistrates Court dealing with GAP/NGAP/trials and youth court work

Role:
* An experienced Criminal Duty Solicitor to cover all aspects of work from police station attendances to Crown Court Litigation and Magistrates Court advocacy
* You will be required to provide high standard quality work to both private and publicly funded clients
* Attending clients at police stations, including out of hours
* Liaising with clients
* Managing a full caseload
* Provide advice and advocacy
* Supervisor status required
* Applying for Legal aid
