Linq Healthcare are working in partnership with one of the UK’s largest Healthcare providers, who are looking for a caring Senior Registered General Nurse for their 5 bed Critical Care unit.
Having access to some of the latest technology and equipment, allows them to perform a wide variety of procedures in the fields of Orthopaedic Surgery, General Surgery, Gynaecology and Urology, and more complex procedures such as cardiac, neurology and cancer surgery.
Facilities include 5 theatres, 66 beds and an intensive care unit. This really will be an exciting, creative and rewarding place to work!
This is a full time role, 37.5 hours consisting of Days and Occasional Nights, with enhancement pay for unsociable hours!
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
Registered General Nurse NMC registered
Completed all or some Step 1,2,3 competencie
Completed Critical Care Course is a must
Duties of this role include:
To ensure that standards of patient care are consistently maintained at all times in accordance with agreed operational policies and procedures.
To promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all Patients, Employees and Consultants acting as an advocate to more junior members of the team.
Where appropriate to deputise for the Sister/ Charge Nurse and the lead on clinical shifts.
To ensure the provision of individualised patient care, providing excellent standards of individual care.
Conduct yourself professionally within the NMC Codes of professional Conduct
