We have an exciting opportunity for two highly motivated Customer Advisors to join our Customer Advice and Support Service in Peebles Contact Centre with occasional work in Innerleithen Library Contact Centre. The Customer Advice and Support Service plays a vital role in dealing with face to face, telephone, email and online enquiries for all services provided by Scottish Borders Council. As this may require some work being carried out at Innerleithen Library Contact Centre, this also includes providing a high quality Library Service which meets the needs of the local community whilst promoting a positive, welcoming and helpful image of Library and Contact Centre Services to the residents of and visitors to the Scottish Borders.
At least 5 SCE Standard Grades including English at level 3 or above (or equivalent)
Commitment and ability to achieve an appropriate level of Customer Service qualification or SVQ level 2.
