My client, a local authority, seek a Customer Advisor to work within their Recycling team based in Footscray, Sidcup.
The role:
- To ensure that telephone, email, social media and personal enquiries are dealt with promptly and effectively
- To maintain records, produce statements, produce reports to enable colleagues to collate information and make effective decisions and to contribute to the planning and execution of specialist work
- To communicate effectively with professional staff within and outside the Department, representatives of external organisations and members of the public to provide advice, guidance, evidence, environmental awareness and information
- To monitor and record contractor performance, quality, safety and progress of work.
- To assist in the Council’s environmental initiatives and to assist in site management.
- To undertake technical surveys to provide information about contractor performance, resident participation in recycling, weights of materials recycled and contamination of recycled material.
The successful candidate will have Customer Advisor experience as you will have regular contact with local borough residents. Experience of working within the waste and recycling remit is an advantage.
