Customer Aftercare Advisor

About Us: Randstad C&P are working with a leading provider of quality new build houses in Newcastle. They are dedicated to providing comfortable, safe, and welcoming homes for individuals and families across the region, with a commitment to customer satisfaction at the heart of all they do.

Position Overview: As a Customer Aftercare Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that residents receive outstanding support and assistance after moving into their new homes. You will be the primary point of contact for residents, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to resident inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance appointments and repairs, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external contractors to facilitate the completion of maintenance tasks and ensure resident satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident interactions, service requests, and resolutions using our customer management system.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and contribute to the development of best practices.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within the housing or property management industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to empathize and build rapport with residents from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications for data entry and customer correspondence.
  • A positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
