We are looking for a Patient/Customer Care Coordinator to join an ambitious and expanding private clinic. The role of a Patient/Customer Care Coordinator is to educate patients on services, schedule appointments and surgery. We are looking for someone who is motivated to help patients and strive for excellence in a professional team environment. Previous experience working within a clinical/medical environment would be advantageous, but we are also interested in candidates with a commercial Customer Care background. The role will be full days Thursday and Friday. Flexibility to take on the odd day to cover holidays would be useful.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- First point of contact for telephone, email and web enquires
- Responding to general enquiries and making outbound calls to patients.
- Building rapport with potential patients while educating them on our services and securing consultation bookings
- Explaining recommended procedures and discussing treatment pricing
- Inputting data/managing our CRM database and as well as maintaining a patient management database,
- Responsible for creating and maintaining patients records and creating standard letters and documents
Qualifications:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time quickly, accurately, attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required to work closely and effectively with surgeons, clinic staff and understanding patient needs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required to effectively explain laser vision correction to patients and guide them through a decision-making process.
- Ability to remain personable and empathetic with the patient's needs and concerns.
- Ability to work independently "and" as a valued member of the team.
- Ability to follow established protocols while demonstrating flexibility.
- Retail/sales experience helpful.
