About the role

As a Customer Entertainer Associate, you will ensure DFDS delivers the highest standards of entertainment to our customers and junior guests, continually offering an upbeat and fun environment to create smiles on our customers faces whist carrying out duties in our ports and onboard our vessels as the company mascot. We are looking for a individual who thrives on building great and fun customer relationships to retain and maintain our important guests, ensuring DFDS customers are not just receiving a mode of transport but an experience.

You will be responsible for:

  • An ambassador of delivering great customer experiences to the DFDS guest, your colleagues look up to you.
  • To meet and entertain our customers as the Jack the Pirate or any other company mascots within our ports and onboard our vessels.
  • Create engagement with our junior guests through fun activities onboard and ashore.
  • To carry out surprise and delight duties to add ‘that something special’ to our customers experience.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Social media teams to promote Jack & pirate island customer experiences.
  • Carry out promotional events and trade fairs for the DFDS passenger network.
  • Collect passenger survey data and report any customer impacting issues to the Customer Experience Manager.
  • Travel to other DFDS sites to create great customer experiences with our valuable guests
