The Opportunity
This position works out of our location in Wiesbaden (Abbott GmbH) in the Abbott Diabetes Care division that is focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Executing large scale program by shaping, developing, and implementing the ADC E-commerce, CX and SCM strategy and solutions in close alignment with global and local Digital Excellence strategy.
- Identifying, developing, and implementing opportunities for digital innovations with internal and external partners and enabling new business capabilities.
- Developing and implementing strategy for the program team and overseeing and coordinating all E-commerce or customer service-related projects to ensure required prioritization.
- Understanding, mapping and supporting implementation of requirements within the German ADC Webshop.
- Cross-functional collaboration to create and establish a consistent customer journey and experience as a baseline for all teams.
- Serving as primary point of care for the program and coordinator for local and global stakeholders.
- Establishing a business and project environment that supports closure of projects within time, scope and budget.
- Focusing and coordinating continuous improvements and further development of Direct to patient concept.
- Ensuring that all projects, requirements, and activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Adequate university degree in economics or business information technology.
- At least 8-10 years' experience in one of the following industries: medical devices/pharma, e-commerce, Customer experience or payer.
- Understanding of German healthcare reimbursement system.
- Proven project and process management skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to coordinate with geographically dispersed support and IT groups.
- Ability to bring structure to complex situations, communicate, and implement them clearly.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments.
- Ability to develop sustainable relationships and effectively communicate with internal & external stakeholders.
- Team-oriented self-tarter with attention to detail and customer focused mindset.
- Fluency in German and English is a must.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in E-commerce or Customer Experience technology.
- Previous experience or exposure to IT industry and working with international teams.
- In depth knowledge of the German healthcare reimbursement system.
- Hands on experience/ understanding of diabetes and blood glucose measuring business.
- Six sigma training.
- MBA or consulting experience.
