Job Title: Customer Operations Assistant
Reporting to: Customer Operations Manager
Purpose: To ensure the processing of orders, credits, returns and debit notes are processed within the agreed time frames.
Ensuring customers’ needs and requests are met, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented to ensure successful, long-term client relationships are maintained.
Customer Operations Assistant Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Progressing orders, credits, returns, Debit notes, POD’s within acceptable time frames and S.L.A’s.
- Provide a timely response and effective follow up to all sales enquiries using appropriate methods
- Work within a team to achieve set goals within a set time frame
- To receive and handle incoming phone calls for all enquiries in a timely and effective manner.
- Effective refer customer complaints to appropriate member of staff
- Attend company provided training to develop relevant product knowledge, techniques and skills;
- Follow all administrative policies and procedures
- Participation in monthly Sales Meetings;
- Promote E shop to customers.
Customer Operations Assistant Specific Accountabilities:
- Ensuring all orders, credit and debits are processed in a timely manner
- Maintaining good customer relations with clients;
Dimensions:
- Working hours – normally from 0900 to 1730
Personal Experience/Qualifications/Skills:
- Trustworthy and honest;
·Appropriate technical aptitude and/or qualifications;
·Proven ability to manage own work
·Ability to establish good working relationships and good negotiation skills;
- Strong IT skills in Excel and Word and E-mail;
- Knowledge of SAP an advantage;
- Loyal and company-focused; .
