About the role
As Customer Relationship Manager you will be responsible for relationship development and management for all prospective customers for our luxury care homes. This includes:
- Generating and managing bed enquiries and providing exceptional customer care.
- Supporting our Home Managers and our marketing team to promote our Residential and Dementia care services.
- Managing all inbound enquiries from initial contact to the move-in day of our residents.
- Generating additional referrals and enquiries by building successful relationships with external professionals, including Social Services, Discharge Co-ordinators, District Nurses, Psychiatrists, GP’s and Consultants, etc.
- Building local relationships with individual members of our communities, and with community and voluntary groups supporting older people, e.g Alzheimers Society, NAPA, Age UK, Solicitors for the elderly, Independent Financial Advisors, etc.
- Delivering external-facing community events, building contacts with potential clients and referrers.
- Understanding the key competitors to our homes in the local area and developing strategies to compete more effectively.
- Building and maintaining excellent relationships with our existing residents and their families, generating positive feedback and, for example, improving reviews on carehome.co.uk, etc.
About you
We are looking for someone with outstanding customer service and relationship management skills, who can drive results through their desire to help and provide care, support and compassion for all prospective residents.
You will be an excellent communicator, empathetic, and able to support family members and friends to become partners in the care of their loved one.
Due to the nature of the role, some flexibility in hours will be required and candidates should be prepared to offer this during the week, and occasionally on weekends, in order to drive results.
