This opportunity is based in a customer contact centre where you will take calls from customers who want to claim on their health insurance or who have queries with it. The calls that you will receive will range from basic a claims update to a more serious call following a customer's life-changing health diagnosis. Due to the nature of these calls, the ideal candidate will be caring and resilient.
The salary for this position is 23,912 per annum and will rise to 25,085 after a 7 month the probation period. This role is 100% office based.
Benefits and Package for a Customer Service Advisor:
- Salary: 23,912 per annum rising to 25,085 after probation (increase to 31,000 per annum over time)
- Hours: Monday - Friday, shifts between 8am - 7pm (37.5 hours per week) with a 5pm finish on a Friday. Each week you will work one day 8am - 4.30pm, one day 10.30am - 7pm and 3 days 9 - 5.30pm. You will work the occasional Saturday morning 9am - 12pm, (one in every 6 weeks), however, you will gain those hours back in the following week.

Key Responsibilities of a Customer Service Advisor:
- Taking calls from customers regarding their medical insurance and updating and processing their claims
- Dealing with potentially highly emotive calls, remaining compassionate and calm at all times
- Using your initiative when talking to customers as this is a non-scripted role, whilst following a systems process
- Ensuring every customer receives excellent Customer Service, and they are more than satisfied with the outcome of the call
- Answer high-volume calls with the same level of excellent Customer Service to each customer
Key Skills and Experience of a Customer Service Advisor:
- Previous experience in any type of Customer Service position is required (retail, hospitality, contact centre, care work etc)
- Emotional intelligence, resilience and an empathetic nature are essential traits for this role
- Excellent communication skills are required as this role is predominantly telephone-based
- You must be committed to work and passionate about providing excellent Customer Service
