My client based in Portbury (BS20) are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join their team.
The position is temporary, ongoing.
Hours are Mon-Fri 8am-5pm and the roles are office based. Due to the location, own transport is desirable.
They are looking for someone who can be part of their Customer Service Team that support their business customers with complex ordering to ensure they have the right product delivered at the right time.
Each team member has their own group of customers they support over the phone and via email. They build working relationships that ensure they deliver world-class service.
More than just taking orders, you will help your customers to plan and liaise with their transport team on delivery timescales and schedules.
You will need to use creative problem solving skills to manage and resolve problems or issues that occur as quickly as possible.
They are a fun and friendly team who enjoy their work and take pride in giving exemplary service to customers.
Day to day responsibilities
- Receive calls from customers
- Make calls to customers
- Email correspondence with customers
- Accurate record keeping on SAP database system
- Liaising with colleagues in other departments including: stock control, transport, planning, account managers.
- Advocating for customer's needs and preferences.
- Resolving customer issues and queries quickly and efficiently, ensuring everyone involved is kept up to date.
- Negotiating a best fit solution when the customer's first choice option is not possible
