Customer Service Agent

Do you have Customer Service or 1st line support experience? Are you familiar with Microsoft Excel and CRM systems?

I am looking for a Customer Service Agent for a Hounslow-based client who specialises in logistics/freight. The Customer Service Agent (CSA) will act as a liaison to provide product/service information, answer questions, and resolve any emerging customer account problems. This is an office-based, Monday - Friday position, working from 9am to 5:30pm with a 1-hour lunch break. 

Main duties:

• Ability to have clear, concise, and professional dialogue with customers and colleagues via telephone and email.
• Managing situations where the customers’ expectations have not been met and achieving the best possible outcome.
• Dealing with telephone queries.
• Update service level reports for customers.
• Checking the delivery status of shipments using in-house systems.
• Update service level reports for customers.
• Using MS Excel for reporting purposes. 

Key requirements: 

• 1-2 years' Customer Service experience 
• Excellent telephone manner
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel for reporting purposes 
• Excellent communication and time-management skills 

Pay, benefits & package:

• Salary of £23,500 per annum
