Job description

Job Title: Customer Service Coordinator
Location: Newport
Salary: £11.50-£13.50 per hour depending on experience in Coordinating

Hours: Full time. Monday – Friday 7:30am-4:30pm this is a full time permanent role

Here at The Recruitment Co we are currently recruiting a Customer Service Coordinator to work for a company based in Newport on a full time basis.
You will be responsible for Co-ordination and management of reactive and proactive jobs and works received across all departments.

Main Job roles:

  • All aspects of the general day to day management of the field service departments
  • To assist in the general office duties at the head office including answering phones , logging calls , maintaining company databases and job handling programs , ordering parts , co-ordinating field engineers , liaising with suppliers and clients
  • To promote products and services supplied and carried out by the company wherever possible.
  • To comply with and promote company policies at all times when carrying out company duties
  • To liaise with subcontractors and suppliers ref costs and works required and to co – ordinate with them ref the planning in of accepted works across all departments
  • To co-ordinate and allocate incoming reactive and proactive jobs via our job handling system to field based engineers and to maintain data and information held on this system for the purposes of invoicing and or reporting to the customer once jobs are completed
  • To produce written job instructions, SMS and RA, and plans as required to enable the engineers to carry out the work as quoted.
  • To assist in project management of jobs and quoted works including ordering of plant & materials , dealing with issues as they arise whether from client, supplier or engineer perspective
  • To liaise with the accounts department ref invoicing of completed works to customers and any invoices received from subcontractors/ suppliers ef the work carried out.
  • To liaise with accounts department ref new client details and overdue accounts
  • To liaise with workshop , stores , and other parts suppliers over the timely repair and allocation of spares to engineers and sites as and when they are required to fulfil company commitments
  • Maintain an excellent standard of Health and Safety and General
  • Housekeeping at all times at clients premises
  • premises or when carrying out company duties
  • Provide an excellent standard of Customer Service to existing and potential customers and carry out duties in a courteous manner, ensuring the professionalism is promoted at all times
  • To produce written quotations for clients , and to maintain client files both on the server and manually with details of any work quoted.
  • To follow up on quoted work , and to report to Management Team on status of works quoted
  • Any other duties that are necessary in line with the requirements of the job and the objectives of the organisation.

Required Experience

  • Previous coordinating experience is essential
  • Previous admin experience is essential
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable with microsoft packages
