Customer Service Executive I S1I Corporate & Commercial Banking Country: United Kingdom

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Corporate Centre in Glasgow, a centre of excellence for the bank. The role offers a salary within a range of £23,036 to £27,101, in addition you would receive a £500 flexible benefit and be included within a discretionary performance related bonus scheme. Salary will be dependent on experience and would be confirmed at offer should your application and interview be deemed successful.

The difference you’ll make.

  • Servicing inbound calls and emails from customers, both internally and externally either through personal ownership or by liaising with other areas (e.g. internal Departments; escalating issues or complaints), according to the process

  • Using various systems to ensure all queries raised are fully answered, ensuring the account is accurately updated to reflect conversations

  • Performing high value transactions on customers’ accounts,

  • Achieving Key Performance Indicators such as Quality Assurance targets and AHT targets

  • Displaying Santander’s 5 TEAMs behaviours in line with the Client Services ethos

What you’ll bring.

  • The ability to treat each customer as an individual and deliver a tailored response on each call

  • Being able to work within procedural guidelines

It would also be nice for you to have.

  • Excellent communication and Customer Service skills (e.g. articulate, clear, good listening/questioning skills, showing empathy where appropriate)

  • Numerical and computer skills, with a high level of dexterity

  • Flexibility across the range of opening hours

  • You will require the right to work in the UK (please see details below)

This is a full time role and is based in our St Vincent Street office, Glasgow and you will be expected to spend 40% of your time in this office.

We are open Monday to Friday and so you’ll work five seven-hour shifts between 08:00 – 17:30.

  • Starting Salary between £23,036 - £27,101 - dependent on experience

Right to work in the UK.
