Scope of Role
Our busy department is seeking a highly organised, hardworking, and self-motivated account manager. The ideal candidate will have good time management and organisation skills, good people and communication skills in order to work well with our customers and team. Attention to detail is an essential part of the role. This role will help to provide help and support to both new and existing customers either via telephone or email with the aim being to deliver excellence and timeliness in the service provided to ensure renewals are re-secured at the end of their contracted periods.
Compliance
- Cooperating with and support the compliance management system and encouraging personnel to do the same.
- Developing personnel awareness of product compliance obligations.
- Actively participate in corrective actions from concerns or internal audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Inbound queries by telephone and email from new and existing customers.
- To resolve problems to customer’s satisfaction within agreed timelines, effectively and efficiently.
- Logging of site visits, including organising part orders and delivery.
- Producing quotes.
- Maintain high accuracy in all aspects of order processing including processing of credit card transactions.
- To achieve KPI Targets as set by the Service Manager.
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain a healthy pipeline for future sales.
- Recording and tracking sales.
- To develop and maintain a full knowledge of Kingspan’s products and services.
- Provide a high quality professional service to internal & external customers.
- Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships e.g. field engineers.
- To ensure procedures and compliance requirements are adhered to.
- Any other ad hoc duties which may involve direct contact with other departments.
- Maintain and promote a compliance culture throughout the organisation in order to ensure the highest levels of integrity, honesty and professionalism.
- Promote the highest possible standards of health, safety, environmental, quality and product compliance, ensuring that compliance is an integral part of the business and our requirements and procedures.
Essential Criteria
- Five GCSE passes (or equivalent) including English and Maths
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Customer Service dealing with calls and queries within a formal Customer Service environment
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- The ability and desire to sell
- Effective & active listening
- A positive, confident and determined approach
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Strong customer focus and high attention to detail
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent IT Skills
Desirable Criteria
- Third level qualification in Customer Care / Sales
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience
