The Role:
Reporting to the Commercial Director, booking work and taking incoming sales calls/leads.
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for contributing to the annual sales target as agreed with the senior management team.
- Responsible for cold calling, as and when required to potential new clients taking data from the internet and from incoming sales lead calls and emails.
- Responsible for maintaining the sales database and updating daily any new sales leads and current account activity. Ensure that monthly sales lead list is kept updated at all times.
- Assisting with the upselling and cross selling, of other products and services to all existing and new clients.
- Responsible for accurate and full completion of new client information in the database.
- Ensuring all sales related e-mails and phone calls are responded to in a timely manner.
- Responsible for placing orders with subcontractors in accordance with the client’s order requirements.
- To initiate a change of supplier if their service level and commitment do not reach our level of expectation
- Responsible for sourcing suppliers and the most competitive buy prices in the Skips and Hazardous sector.
- To assist with the managing the relationship with suppliers to ensure customer satisfaction at service level.
- Responsible for finding resolution to supplier queries such as abnormal prices and wasted journeys.
- Ensure that all correspondence regarding clients is saved to the appropriate files.
