Customer Services Advisor - Insurance

One of the UK's leading trade and commercial insurance brokers is currently searching for an enthusiastic Customer Services Advisor to join their team in their Stockport office on a full-time basis. 

This company is a fast-paced insurance broker with a vibrant team of fun and lively people behind them. They have been in the insurance broking business for over 15 years, and due to their continual growth, multiple opportunities have arisen within their office.

As a Customer Services Advisor, you will be responsible for handling customer enquiries and liaising with insurers to ensure an excellent client experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Resolving any queries or issues which arise with new customers recently placed on cover
• Checking customers' supporting documents and identifying any problem areas
• Liaising with insurers to ensure an excellent customer experience
• Efficiently dealing with customer email enquiries and directing them to the relevant advisor, where appropriate

Required Experience:

• Previous customer service experience is preferred
• An insurance background would be advantageous
• Exceptional telephone manner is essential
• Excellent communication skills
• A high level of attention to detail
• An ability to deal with a high-volume workload and prioritise work effectively
• An ability to work in a team or individually
• Strong organisational skills and superb time management skills
• A good level of competence in IT
• A flexible attitude to dealing with changing day-to-day requirements
