JOB TITLE: Customer Services Assistant
JOB LOCATION: Wisbech / Kings Lynn area
JOB TYPE: Temp to begin with and then permanent
JOB HOURS: 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with 45 min PAID lunchbreak each day: 45 hours per week
JOB RATE: Equivalent of £25000 salary
JOB NOTES: This job is office based with no plans for working from home. Our client is in a rural location and not served by public transport so you will need your own vehicle to get there.
Your new company
Our client is a lovely family run business that has been operating and growing in our local area for almost 50 years. Hays is delighted to be working with them to recruit someone to their small team in a very important customer-facing position.
Your new role
Your job will be to be the first point of contact for all customers, dealing with enquiries and arranging appointments for colleagues. You'll process payments, liaise with the customer to confirm bookings and details, collect feedback after successful delivery and be the face and voice of the business for the customer from start to finish.
What you'll need to succeed
This is a job that needs experience of customer service and admin in an office environment. Our client is keen to hire someone quickly and would prefer to hire someone on a temp basis within the next week to give them a taste of the job and the company before converting them to a permanent member of the team.
Of course, you will need

• Fantastic communication skills and excellent written and spoken English
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good multitasking skills
• Great skill at gathering and sharing detailed information
• Experience of using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
