About Us
We are looking to recruit a Customer Services and Ineligible Cases Officer to join our busy dedicated team to be the first point of contact for customers to the Housing and Regeneration Department.
Dealing with a complete range of housing enquiries at the Housing Contact Centre – whether tenants, leaseholders or those seeking a home, you will understand the importance of providing excellent customer care to all sections of the Council’s diverse community. You will also be responsible for the assessment, accommodation, and subsistence support of a caseload of clients who are subject to No Recourse to Public Funds.
As a Customer Services and Ineligible Cases Officers you will be able to deal with those seeking assistance in a sensitive and practical way. You will offer flexibility, commitment. enthusiasm with excellent teamwork skills. You will need to be competent in the use of IT packages as well as having excellent administration skills. Experience of working in a busy public facing role is essential. Knowledge of housing legislation would be beneficial but is not essential.
