CUSTOMER SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE
Permanent
12 Hours per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10:00am to 2:00pm)
Salary - Scale 2/3 (£22,737 - £23,893 pro rata, per annum)
In this role you will provide an effective and efficient reception service to all visitors and staff at Coastal House.
This will involve a range of duties including, providing an exceptional reception service for all visitors though determining individual needs and sign posting accordingly, maintaining an accurate visitors register and ensuring all visitors are signed in appropriately, along with receiving telephone and other communications to enable effective liaison between reception and other departments.
In addition, you will be required to undertake a full range of clerical duties, including but not limited to; photocopying and collating documents, scanning and emailing documents to relevant departments and maintaining equipment, reporting any faults if required. You will also ensure the reception area is maintained to a high standard, keeping the environment clean and tidy, ensuring the external doors are accessible and not blocked and all leaflets are maintained and organised.
The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to actively listen and respond with empathy, yet maintain confidence and professionalism when dealing with people at all levels. A professional appearance is must, as it the ability to maintain confidentiality and show discretion. Applicants should be able to remain calm under pressure, have a good attention to detail and be able to work flexibly and responsively to meet the needs of the service. Previous experience in a customer facing environment is desirable, although full training will be given.
