Anderson Knight are looking for a Customer Support Specialist for one of our priority clients based in Glasgow. This is a full time, permanent position. This role is responsible for carrying out specialist support duties in order to provide customers with excellent support through vulnerable situations and seek solutions that suit both the business and customer satisfaction and provide good outcomes.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Responsible for all aspects of specialist support / collections duties in line with business policies and procedures
• Handling all inbound and outbound communication and recording data accurately.
• Deal with all correspondence with customers via letter, email and text and ensure all records are being updated accurately
• Provide all specialist support to vulnerable customers in achieving the outcome for the customer
• Ensure all compliance and legislation is being followed throughout the specialist customer service given to customers.
• Complete customer affordability assessments ensuring decisions are made for the best possible outcome for the customer.
• Negotiate with customers on affordable and sustainable repayments plans for the customer
Knowledge and Experience
• Previous experience working within a similar role is essential
• Previous experience working with vulnerable customers is required
• Excellent customer services skills are an essential
• The ability to deal with difficult situations is essential
• Experience of working within the motor finance trade is highly advantageous
• Previous experience working within collections is preferred
• Excellent attention to detail is essential
