The role

To be the face of the Packaging Compliance Team delivering a high level of customer service to existing customers and ensuring a positive retention record is maintained and opportunities are maximised. To build strong relationships with customers through the understanding of their needs and requirements and support with their packaging data and legislative obligations.

The responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing and prospect packaging compliance members, ensuring regular contact and providing support as required in line with their needs.
  • Understand and interpret compliance legislation in the context of members’ business activities.
  • Provide regulation technical and data support to existing and prospect members.
  • Verification of data submissions to the regulator, to include processing resubmissions for own members.
  • Conduct member audits (onsite/ desktop) and provide assistance with recommendations from regulator audits.
  • Assistance with preparing/delivering webinars, as required.

The Person

  • Comfortable and confident building a rapport with customers communicating over the phone, in person and via email.
  • Proactive and outgoing with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, with a specific focus on Excel
  • A logical and methodical approach with an eye for detail.
  • The ability to prioritise, multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • To thrive in this role, you will be passionate and excited to work for a business for good!
  • A UK driving license will be required in order to carry out on site customer visits.
