Job description

We have an exciting new opportunity to join our busy Customs Team as a Customs Administrator. Based full time at our Support Centre offices in Speke, Liverpool (L24), this is a permanent role.

As a Customs Administrator, you'll provide support to the Customs Department, arranging customs clearance of all consignments to meet business requirements.

In this role you will be;

  • Supporting the team to ensure full accuracy of all declarations completed
  • Managing data and producing reports using Microsoft Excel
  • Following up declarations until customs clearance is obtained
  • Maintaining customs records
  • Any other administrative tasks required to support the team

The ideal experience & skills required are;

  • Strong administration experience & excellent organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to retain accuracy levels under pressure
  • Computer literate, confident in using Microsoft packages
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
