We have an exciting opportunity as a Customs Administrator/Clerk to join this growing and friendly team in Portbury. You will be joining a close knit team, in a welcoming and friendly environment.

As a Customs Administrator/Clerk, you will be responsible for:

• Manage all shipping coming into the UK and understanding what is needed for each shipment.
• Ensure all aspects of customs clearances are processed efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure all customs declarations, clearances and processes are completed within a timely manner.
• Understanding HMRC regulations for international Exports, Imports and Transit movements.

You will have the following skills and experience:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualified - essential
• Experience in a similar position.
• knowledge of customs legislations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of CHIEF, Destin8, CNS and declaration software, Mult freight, Data freight and Cargowise.
• Fantastic time management, planning and organisation skills

Salary:

From £28,000 - depending on qualifications and experience
