Customs Clearance Clerk

Hrgo are seeking a Customs Clearance Clerk for our successful client in Dover. Good analytical and excellent organisational skills are essential for this role and you must work in a methodical manner and be able to respond effectively to enquiries. Knowledge of customs procedures and principles are essential and preferably experience of at least 1 year.

Duties include:

Calculating Duty / VAT cost for each consignment

Processing Import/Export declarations

Dealing with general enquiries from importers / exporters concerning all areas relating to Customs Procedures i.e Tariff Classifications, Duty Rates and any other documentation requirements

Keeping up to date with changes in regulations, laws and customs procedures

Monday - Friday , 9.00am - 5.30pm.

Salary is DOE.
