This is an exciting time to join our SAP Evolution Program as our Project Manager- with a particular focus on leading / managing on Business activities that need to be carried out for a successful business implementation of the SAP Evolution Programme. Anglian Water is achieving an unprecedented transformation of its businesses, rethinking the way we engage with our customers and partners, and maintain, repair and operate our asset network. As a part of this process, a number of functional squads have been established to drive specific business outcomes for a number of business domains, namely Supply Chain, Procurement, TotEx Delivery, Alliance Partners, Asset Management, Miscellaneous income, Development Services and Finance.

The functional squads, co-led by a product owner and engineering lead, are organised to work in partnership with the business delivering SAP digital products to enable the business function to maximize its performance.

As our Project Business Cutover Manager, you'll be a key member of the team within the SAP Evolution Program. You'll initially be responsible for working with our technical cut-over lead to co-ordinate business cut-over & post implementation activities. More broadly, the role will entail coaching and motivating teams and facilitating requirements for successful and timely delivery.

You'll be proficient in project management, have experienced a number of cutover projects and ideally have some Agile delivery experience. Using your excellent communication skills, you'll be the glue that holds the team together during fast paced working practices.

What does it take to be our Business Cutover Manager?

• Experience of a number of cut-overs for large project (or programmes), ideally ERP applications, with a particular emphasis on Business cutover understanding
• Excellent senior stakeholder engagement
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• People centric mindset
• Strong stakeholder management and collaborative working skills
• Project planning & delivery tracking
• Knowledge and experience of Waterfall delivery (i.e. waterfall) to enable explanation of distinctions in order to motivate team
• Ideally experience in Agile methodology & frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, XP etc
• Experience in agile techniques such as user stories, continuous integration, ATDD, TDD, continuous testing, pairing, automated testing, agile games
• Proven ability to deliver results on time
• Understand the value of metrics and incremental delivery
• Knowledge about tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics and velocity

What does it take to be our Project Manager? (Desirable)

• Prince 2 certification or MSP
• First or second level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSMI, CSP, PSMII)
• Knowledge of agile tools such as VSTS, JIRA, confluence etc and how to simplify them and use them for what they are good for
