Job Description:
As a Cyber Security Consultant/Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our organization by leveraging your extensive experience and knowledge in various cybersecurity domains. The successful candidate will have expertise in SOC (Security Operations Center), NOC (Network Operations Center), Cyber Threat Intelligence, Digital Forensic, Incident Response, Risk Management, Project Management, LAN (Local Area Network), Firewall, SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), Team Management, VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing), and possess CompTIA CASP+ and CEH certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• IT Security Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement IT security policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets, in alignment with our Cyber Security and Compliance Strategy.
• Operational Cyber Security: Contribute to the operational delivery of our Cyber Security initiatives on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that security measures are consistently upheld.
• Security Assessments and Vulnerability Scans: Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential risks and weaknesses in the IT infrastructure.
• Security Monitoring and Incident Response: Monitor network traffic and system logs for suspicious activities and respond to security incidents in a timely manner, effectively mitigating threats.
• Security Control Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security controls, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data encryption, to fortify our defenses.
• Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in IT security to proactively address emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
• Security Awareness Training: Conduct security awareness training sessions for employees to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance, ensuring that all team members are well-informed and engaged in our security efforts.
• Compliance Audits: Perform periodic audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security policies, maintaining our commitment to adherence and the highest standards of cybersecurity.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in cybersecurity with a minimum of 5 years.
• CompTIA CASP+ and CEH certifications are strongly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, tools, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
