Job description

Reporting to the head Strategy and Planning team within my clients IT Risk and Security division, the Cybersecurity Reporting Analyst will be accountable for timely delivery of regular and ad hoc Security Reporting across IT and to the executive level.

Task Description (= service description as in final offer)

The Reporting Analyst will lead and manage the production of presentations and collateral to support ITRS operational and strategic reporting commitments.

The Reporting Analyst will be responsible for generating Cybersecurity reports and presentations as well as producing ad hoc collateral for executive and board-level stakeholders.

The Reporting Analyst will also support the execution of complex data ingestion and integration campaigns across multiple technology stacks and cybersecurity functions, provide analytical rigor and deliver relevant, contextualised information.

By using his/her experience in enterprise-wide collaboration, the Reporting Analyst will function as the principal contact for all ITRS reporting.

  • Produce the monthly Cybersecurity presentations and associated collateral by updating operational data sets and integrating into charts and graphs.
  • Manage the addition of new Cybersecurity metrics and merge into existing presentations.
  • Maintain the monthly dataset and spreadsheets used for producing Cybersecurity metrics.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and nurture a collaborative environment to identify requirements for Security Reporting.
  • Unify operational Security Reporting across ITRS to present an integrated, mature, and aligned security services organization to the business.
  • Maintain relationships with third-party research organisations (Forrester, IANS) to keep abreast of current developments in the cybersecurity landscape and maintain the relevancy of a metrics catalogue.
  • Support the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) to monitor performance and add business value by providing timely risk detection.

� Support the development of a centralized security performance management dashboard and automation capabilities to deliver contextualized reporting and monitor risk.

  • Produce and manage ITRS-related presentations required for executive updates, including topics such as Cybersecurity metrics, current organisation structure and strategy.

� Abstract operational security performance metrics to management and board-level-ready deliverables

� Perform statistical analysis on large datasets from diverse security platforms to determine historical trending and provide stakeholders with valuable insights they can use to improve operational and business practices.

Required skills and qualifications

Must have

� Minimum of 5 years of general IT experience with preferred minimum of 3 years of experience in Cybersecurity.

� Experience of working with and developing Power BI instances.

� Experience of producing high quality documentation, briefing papers, spreadsheets, reports, and presentations.

� Good knowledge of complex IT organisations and experience with security-relevant topics, security metrics and a related knowledge of the market.

� Excellent writing and Powerpoint presentation skills

� Experience of designing Powerpoint decks from scratch and translating technical issues into clear and understandable messaging.

� Experience of developing corporate Powerpoint presentations based on metrics and large datasets.

� Working knowledge of IT and Cybersecurity operational environments.

� Experience of producing high quality documentation, briefing papers, spreadsheets, reports, and presentations.

� International experience from working on global teams and leading small projects.

� Ability to independently prioritize, focus and execute tasks in a timely manner and simultaneously work in a collaborative, well engaged and collaborative environment.

� Experience in the development and maintenance of Microsoft Office 365 SharePoint and Team sites.
