Overview:
We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. 

The demand for skilled cyberSecurity Risk Analysts is consistently rising, there is a shortage of cybersecurity professionals in the UK and organisations across industries are recognising the need for robust cybersecurity measures, creating a demand for experts in the field. As cyber threats continue to evolve, the need for individuals who can assess and mitigate risks has become crucial. 

You will play a vital role in ensuring that organisations adhere to compliance regulations. As an analyst, you can find opportunities across various industries, including finance, healthcare, government, and technology. 

Main role / Responsibilities [will include but not be limited to]: 

  • Identifying potential Security Risks and vulnerabilities in an organisation’s systems, networks, and applications 
  • Developing and implementing security measures, alongside other security professionals, to mitigate identified risks
  • Monitoring and analysing security data from various sources to identify potential security incidents and breaches 
  • Responding to security incidents and breaches, including investigating incidents, containing and mitigating the impact of incidents, and reporting incidents to management and other stakeholders 
  • Maintaining security documentation related to security policies, procedures, and controls. This may include updating policies and procedures as needed and ensuring that documentation is up-to-date and accurate

Entry requirements:

  • an A Level in ICT
  • OR an International Baccalaureate at Level 3 in ICT
  • OR a Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject
  • OR a BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (180 credits)

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
