Cyber Security Specialist

I am currently working with one of the leading data platform modernisation companies in the UK that due to continued growth are looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to joining the team on a permanent basis.

As the Group Cyber Specialist you will be the Subject Matter Expert for Cyber Security across the company, responsible for implementing, maintaining and monitoring a range of technical and process security controls and leading continuous improvement in response to changing security threats and risk.

You will need to be capable of viewing the risks of the business through a security lens, providing expert support and advice. This requires a collaborative approach providing guidance as required and supporting all initiatives, strategies and business objectives.

You will have experience of managing and advising senior/leadership teams on the security road–map for the business.o be comfortable with ISO270

Required experience/qualifications:

• CCSP or equivalent Microsoft Qualifications
• ISO27001 certification
• Previous experience within a Cyber Security or related role
• Experience using Sentinel, Microsoft 365 – Azure
• Working knowledge of Cybersecurity standards and frameworks
• Experience with Vulnerability Management, Cloud Protection Suites and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools
• Ability to articulate security advice directly to key stakeholders within both the business and the customer community

This is a permanent position and requires someone with strong communication and engagement skills WITH experience building relationships and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
