Our client is an established and growing manufacturer and distributor of industrial and speciality gases for a wide range of industrial applications. Part of a growing international group the business now has a vacancy for a Nights Team Member who will work with the teams on the plant to support this growth while meeting and Health and Safety needs of the site.

Cylinder Filling Operative - Requirements

• Physically strong enough to move heavy cylinders as needed.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.
• Great communication skills - verbal and written.
• Pro-active in your approach to work and energetic and disciplined in order to meet deadlines while still working accurately.
• Ability to work independently and/or effectively as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and able to troubleshoot technical issues.

Cylinder Filling Operative - Responsibilities

• Pre and Post fill inspections of cylinders - marking faulty cylinders and segregating them appropriately.
• Emptying, filling and moving cylinders in accordance with all standards expected legally and otherwise.
• Ensuring filled cylinders meet required specifications
• Adhering to production plans and completing correct documentation.
• Maintaining sites and equipment, ensuring good operating conditions
• Adhering & complying to all regulatory safety rules on all responsible sites, ensuring good housekeeping in all areas, at all times.
• Comply with PPE requirements for each area.
