About the role
Astute's Power Division are partnering with a leading EPC Contractor in the UK Power Industry. We are currently recruiting for a Data Administrator to join their team on the new build Waste to Energy facility based in Chester for initially 12 months.
Role responsibilities for the Data Administrator position in Chester:
- Create an excel spreadsheet with data taken from delivery notes.
- Be proactive and able to work independently
- Scan delivery notes, maintain a good filing system.
- Update the database with material being received and dispatched.
- Provide administration support to the Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Supervisor.
Qualifications and skills required for this role:
- Good reading and comprehension skills.
- Able to meet daily KPI's.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Flexible to respond and react to changing priorities, quickly and efficiently.
- Able to track, analyse, and report issues.
- Competent at working safely in a safety critical environment.
- Detail-oriented and comfortable with repetitive tasks.
- Proactive and able to work independently, adapt to the construction environment and work accurately.
- Customer service/administrative experience: 1 year
- Quick and accurate data entry skills.
- Proficient in using MS Word and Excel.
- Can understand transport documents, dispatch notes, CMRs.
Location, remuneration and timeframe for the Data Administrator role:
- Chester, Cheshire
- £11.50 to £12.00 per hour
- 12 months contract
- February 2024 start date
