We are looking for a well-organised, flexible, and hardworking Data Analyst to control and maintain the School’s Data and Management Information Systems. The successful applicant will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure the effective use of data and help improve student attainment.
Data Analyst job summary:
- Data Analyst salary is £26,000-£28,000 per annum.
- Starts Date: March 2024
- Permanent role, Term Time Only
- Responsible for preparing and maintenance of the student records on the MIS.
- Ensure compliance with invigilation and examination security regulations.
- Issue examination timetables to relevant students.
- Maintain and update the main pupil database to ensure accuracy of records.
- Produce end-of-term pupil reports for distribution to parents.

As a Data Analyst you must be logical, analytical and you will play a key part in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of school data. This is through meticulous attention to detail and adherence to robust processes and procedures.
Data Analyst job requirements:
- A 2:1 degree in mathematics, economics, or related analytical subjects.
- Experience of ICT technical & practical skills e.g. Bromcom, MS Office
- Understanding of use of data in school
- The ability to collect, manipulate and present data
- Desirable to have experience using DFE Secure Sites, 4matrix or similar data platforms
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS.
- Logical and analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
