Data Analyst

Zachary Daniels are delighted to be supporting this rapidly growing retailer in the appointment of a new Data Analyst to bring into their established team to further strengthen their head office function.

The Data Analyst role is accountable for all regular sales, product, and customer reporting throughout the business along with creating new reporting as and when required for stakeholders at all levels.

As Data Analyst you will be expected to, under the supervision of your line manager, handle all day-to-day reporting along with ad hoc requests, providing verbal and written context to reports as well as taking the initiative to provide key insights based on your own work or the work of the wider team.

To be considered for this role you will need to display the following

Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years Data Analyst experience.

Key Skills

• Full understanding of data structuring, modelling, and cleansing.
• Ability to work with raw data from a variety of sources.
• Experience working with Big Data.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, particularly to a non-technical audience.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Extensive experience building dashboards from the ground up using data visualization software (Power BI or Tableau preferably).
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Ability to liaise with key stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to interpret stakeholder needs and transform these into clean, precise reports and visualizations.
• Ability to work on individual projects and as part of a team.
• Ability to interrogate data and provide key analysis which may lead to large scale decisions being made

Desirable Skills

• Experience of analyzing data within a retail environment.
• Experience with SQL or Python.

Please note that this role involves 5 days a week at head office and does not offer a hybrid working arrangement.
