Lidl GB’s award-winning Internal Audit Department has an exciting opportunity for a proactive, confident, and self-motivated Audit Analyst that would take pride in supporting the Internal Auditors with detailed data analysis to identify and assess business risks. This is an ideal role for a positive and enthusiastic team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and strives in achieving perfection. You will need to be able to manage your workload, accepting new tasks openly whilst wanting to go the extra mile to deliver an exceptional service.
We have moved to a hybrid working model with a minimum 2 days in the office per week for appropriate Head Office and Regional roles, empowering our teams to choose how and where they work best. What you'll do
• In your role as an Audit Analyst, you’ll carry out data analysis based on our internal Lidl systems and create dashboards, audit reports and overviews
• Your goal is to analyse business processes through data and create new insights
• You’ll actively work together with the Auditors to deliver an excellent auditing service
• You’ll use your technical know-how to develop a digitalisation and reporting strategy, in order to make the audit process more efficient
• You’ll optimize the existing audit processes both within the department and for our Auditors, e.g. using Excel or MicroStrategy
What you'll need
• Bachelors or master’s degree in data science, operational research, mathematics, statistics, computer science or similar subject
• Professional Microsoft Excel skills incl. VBA programming
• Strong knowledge of one of the following: SQL, Celonis
• Previous Business Analyst experience
• Strong ability to understand complex problems and scenarios, and to analyse them in detail
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and to deliver accurate results
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Ability to present complex issues in a user-friendly and simple manner
• Trustworthy with the ability to keep information confidential
