Job Overview: As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for interpreting data and turning it into information that can offer ways to improve a business, thus affecting business decisions. You will gather information from various sources and interpret patterns and trends - once data has been gathered and interpreted, you will report back what has been found in a comprehensive presentation to the relevant members of the business.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Collecting and interpreting data.
• Analyzing results.
• Reporting the results back to the relevant members of the business.
• Identifying patterns and trends in data sets.
• Working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs.
• Defining new data collection and analysis processes.
• Experience in data models and reporting packages.
• Ability to analyze large datasets.
• Ability to write comprehensive reports.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving.
• Attention to detail.
• Experience with Power BI and SQL and Advanced Excel and other relevant technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or related field.
• Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
