An opportunity for a commercially minded data analyst with a strong background in Power BI.

The job.

• Create and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Through data visualisation, communicate key messages to internal stakeholders.
• Support pricing strategy projects and propose strategies for optimising profitability.
• Manage key data resources.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand ongoing requirements for BI resources.
• Provide analytical support to commercial functions within the organisation across a wide range of projects.
• Leveraging your expertise in data analytics to contribute your own ideas towards process improvement initiatives.
• Maintaining documentation relating to BI processes and procedures.

The candidate.

• 2 years + experience in a commercially focussed analytical role.
• Proficiency with Power BI – data cleansing / transformation, model creation, data visualisation, etc.
• Demonstrable proficiency in DAX
• Intermediate/advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, advanced formulas).
• Degree educated, ideally in a STEM subject. Candidates with a good degree in a non-STEM subject but with significant BI / analytical experience will also be considered.
• Strong numerical and problem-solving ability.
• An outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills. This is essential as the role involves significant internal and external stakeholder interaction.
