Data Analyst Trainer and Curriculum Designer
Salary range up to £46k
Flexible working / WFH
Working hours 8am -4pm
Holiday, 22 days plus Bank holiday which rises after one year.

We are an Ofsted 'Good' work-based training provider who pride ourselves on the quality of our training and the support we provide to learners and employers.
We are looking for candidate experienced in training design and delivery to create our curriculum for Data Analyst HTQs and Apprenticeships. The courses will launch around September 2024.
Ideally you will be to CAVA/A1 Assessors Award - if not you must be willing to achieve this within 9 months of commencing post through our internal training programme.
Duties
* Design the curriculum for Data Analyst Level 4 HTQ and the Data Analyst Apprenticeship based on the awarding body criteria and the apprenticeship assessment plan
* Create learning materials, resources and interactive activities that are compelling, professional and informative
* Gather stakeholder feedback to refine and improve the curriculum
* Deliver online and face to face training in Data Analysis to groups and individual learners
* Assess the work of your learners and provide timely feedback
* Ensure learners are seen, communicated with, progressed, monitored and supported regularly in line with their individual needs.
* Carry out exceptional employer engagement with the learners' line manager to include verbal feedback, written feedback via email or other agreed reporting procedures with group contracts, i.e. monthly reporting.
* Engage and inspire learners to develop their skills
* Monitor learner progress
* Adapt delivery to meet different learner needs
* Provide individual coaching and support to learners
* Full training on health and safety, safeguarding, preventing and learning pastoral support will be provided
Other responsibilities include (although are not limited to):
* To ensure you are working in a safe, secure and confidential manner in line with current legislation and reporting of any risks, incidents or issues
* Promotion, monitoring and reporting in line with our Safeguarding Policies
* Promotion of industry requirements in terms of British Values and Prevent
* Report on additional business opportunities that meets the needs of employers and learners in line with company aspirations and produce a clear business case to support any suggestions
Knowledge requirement
You must have knowledge and experience in the following areas:
* Understands data lifecycle.
* Principles of data.
* Data architecture.
* Able to convert data into infographics, dashboards ad graphs.
* Experience of using systems such as: Python, Tableau, and power BI.
* Data privacy, ethics and regulations in AI
* Databases and SQL
* Time series analysis
* Text mining
* Web scraping and APIs
Skills
* Curriculum and resource design
* Project Management
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Organised, self starter who can meet deadlines
* Team player who is able to build professional relationships at all levels of the organisation
* Excellent IT skills including MS Teams and Powerpoint
Essential Criteria
* 5+ years Professional experience in Data Analyst role
* 2+ years Teaching and training in Data Analysis or similar subject
* Ideally qualified CAVA/A1 Assessors
* Role subject to DBS check
Desirable
* Teaching qualification (e.g. AET, CET, DET, A1, QTLS)
* Experience delivering apprenticeships.
* Assessing or Teaching Young People
