Due to an internal promotion, we are looking to recruit a Data Analyst to join our Distribution Performance & Enablement team on a Permanent basis.
This is a crucial role where the successful candidate will be assisting the team in enhancing the analysis and reporting capability in Distribution, creating actionable insight that informs our distribution strategy and helps increase the number of productive, sustainable relationships Royal London has with advice firms.
You will be designing, creating, and analysing Management Information whilst also providing valuable commentary explaining the performance of Royal London to managers and colleagues.
This will support our strategy to increase productive relationships, which in turn will provide greater access to the customers we support in ‘Protecting Today and Investing in Tomorrow as a responsible mutual.
About the role
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of the data sources available to the Performance & Insight team, and how it is appropriate to use them.
- Design, develop and test new reports and dashboards whilst maintaining and updating existing Sales MI reports.
- Follow team processes and standards to ensure MI and insight produced is of the highest possible quality.
- Provide analysis and commentary on MI you have produced to help customers’ understanding of the key points and trends.
- Develop positive relationships with customers and suppliers of the team.
About you
- Experience of writing formulae to perform calculations in Excel is essential. It would also be advantageous to have Power BI experience however training will be provided.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to display strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Accomplished communication skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Excellent understanding of how to present information for maximum understanding and impact.
