About this Opportunity
As a seasoned Data Analyst within the People and Places (P&P) Data Hub, your role is instrumental in delivering rapid and insightful data analysis to inform critical decisions. Your purpose is to decipher complex P&P data, uncover trends, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders. With your deep understanding of people and processes, you play a pivotal role in optimising workforce management strategies and contributing to the bank's operational excellence.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Your foremost responsibility is to conduct thorough and insightful data analysis. You extract, clean, and transform P&P data, deriving meaningful insights to drive evidence-based decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: You engage with HR teams, business leaders, and cross-functional partners to comprehend their data needs, ensuring your analyses align with their objectives.
  • Rapid Insights Delivery: Your agility is evident as you swiftly translate data into actionable insights. Your ability to analyse data at pace equips stakeholders with timely information for informed choices.
  • Process Expertise: Acquiring knowledge of People and Places processes within the bank empowering you to navigate complex HR data, enhancing the accuracy and relevance of your analyses.
  • Continuous Improvement: You play a pivotal part in refining analytical methodologies and data quality, ensuring your analyses maintain high standards.
  • Upskill and task manage more junior colleagues within the analysis and data hub team and stay informed about industry trends and advancements in HR Data Analytics.
  • Conduct rapid data analysis to extract insights from HR datasets, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimisation.
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to comprehend their data requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Transform complex HR data into clear, concise, and actionable insights, aiding stakeholders' decision-making processes
  • Generate reports, presentations, and visualisations that effectively convey data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leverage your deep knowledge of people and places processes to enhance the accuracy and relevance of your analyses.
  • Influence HR strategies by providing data-backed recommendations for talent acquisition, development, and retention.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to contribute your analytical expertise to broader initiatives.

You will need:
3-5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, you have a proven track record. Your accomplishments reflect your ability to swiftly analyse complex HR data, provide actionable insights, and influence strategic decision-making drive and own changes.
  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in conducting thorough and efficient data analysis using tools like Excel, SQL, or Python.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with HR teams and business stakeholders.
  • Rapid Insights Delivery: Ability to swiftly transform data into actionable insights, meeting fast-paced business demands.
  • Communication: Clear and effective communication to convey complex data insights to diverse audiences.
  • Strategic Thinking: Capability to translate data insights into strategic recommendations for workforce management.
  • Problem Solving: Creative approach to addressing challenges and deriving practical solutions from data.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while delivering accurate and timely insights.
