The role
As a Data Analytics and Business Partner, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll identify opportunities to deliver insight to enhance business performance, exploiting data in growing our business and delivering innovative capabilities that enhance our customer offerings (Digital Twin, Red Cube and Data Science).
Day to day, you'll understand the Value Stream strategy and proactively represent the Data & Analytics discipline in all aspects of delivering this strategy
Point of focus for integration with all customer related systems, Data and Analytics aligned initiatives
  • Implement the Marine Data strategy within the Value Stream
  • Deliver insight and capability that ensures business performance and customer experience is enhanced
  • Prioritise requirements in line with the Value Stream strategy in collaboration with the designated product owners.
  • Ensure the delivery of data & analytics projects to meet the needs of the business

This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week with hybrid working from home arrangements. There is a requirement to travel to Bristol or Devonport as part of the role.
Essential experience of the Data Analytics and Business Partner:
  • Demonstrable ability to understand business requirements and communicate business rules and data definitions.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels in the business and in a variety of media.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, through prioritising work and managing deadlines.
  • Effective organisation and time management skills - able to work independently and manage own workload.

Qualifications for the Data Analytics and Business Partner:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS/SC security clearance for this role.
