As Pembroke College prepares to launch its 400th Anniversary Campaign, the Data and Insights Officer will play a key role in supporting the Development Office team to identify, cultivate and steward current and potential donors in the UK and internationally. This will be achieved through utilising data to see where trends support fundraising and will include data management, prospect research, and segmentation to support appeals and fundraising initiatives.
The postholder will need to be confident in handling and managing Data and have a robust and proactive approach to trend spotting and reporting. They will need to be a good communicator, able to work well in a team, and anticipate the support that will be required to ensure that fundraising targets will be achieved each year.
This role is critical in helping the Development Office increase levels of engagement with alumni and raise philanthropic support to further enrich the student experience at Pembroke through ambitious capital plans and the wider academic and research programme, including support for students. The core purpose of this role, therefore, is to ensure that the College’s alumni data is kept in good condition and regularly reviewed to consider the best approaches for individuals and groups of donors and potential donors.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Data management
- Prospect and donor research and tracking
- Insights, trends and segmentation
